Judene's 2^nd great grandparents were John CROY, Jr. and Jane Unknown. Nothing is known about John's father except that it's assumed his name was John CROY, Sr.? John, Jr. was born in 1796 in either North or South Carolina. Nothing is known about John Jr.'s wife except her first name and it is assumed she was born about 1800 in either New Jersey or South Carolina? To the union of John Jr. & Jane were born twelve children; William Rands; David; Frances; Jonathan; Elizabeth; Margaret; Mary; Charity Isabella; John F.; Eliza; Louisa; & Polly.

William Rands CROY was born in 1819 in South Carolina. On May 11, 1841 William married Catherine Perry. Catherine was born about 1822 in Georgia the daughter of James Perry and Alsie Unknown. William died in Rosewood, Cleburne County, Alabama. Catherine died about 1893 in Cleburne County, Alabama. This union was blessed with fourteen children; John Alexander; William Joshua; Melissa; Amanda; Rosa; Robert; Jane; Winchester; James Arthur; James C.; Emiline; Thomas; David Ranson; & Isabell Charity.

David Ranson CROY was born June 11, 1863 in either Macon or Dawsonville, Dawson County, Georgia. Narsissis Elizabeth CHANDLER was born April 8, 1859 in Cleburne County, Alabama, daughter of George Wesley CHANDLER & Millie Elizabeth WRIGHT. (Wright is my father-in-law's middle name-Richard Wright DUNCAN). David & Narsissis married on August 7, 1881 in Rosewood, Cleburne County, Alabama. David died January 27, 1938 near Redfield, Grant County, Arkansas. Narsissis died January 30, 1940 in Arkansas. Both are buried in the Orion cemetery, Grant County, Arkansas. David & Narsissis were blessed with eleven children; William; Johnny; Mary Elizabeth; Nancy; Sarah; Patrick; Eli; George; Infant; Charity Emmaline; & Hattie. My wife Judene's second name is Elizabeth after her grandmother Mary Elizabeth CROY.
